Benny is doing his first triathlon on Sunday 9th August 2026 in Brighton.

He wants to raise money to help fund education, healthcare and water projects for impoverished communities in Madagascar.

Benny was inspired to do this after learning about the plight of young people in Madagascar during lessons at Hassocks Infants School, which supports the Madagascar Development Fund charity.

At the Brighton Tri Club Children’s Triathlon in Falmer, Benny will swim 25m, cycle 600m and run 600m.

Any support you can send would be very much appreciated.

Madagascar is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, where the level of primary school attendance is extremely low. Only the children of Haiti and Afghanistan are worse off.
