Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This September I have the privilege of running the Berlin Marathon in support of the MS Society.

It’s estimated that over 150,000 people are living with MS in the UK, with around 135 people diagnosed every week. MS is a lifelong neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, impacting everyone differently. For many, it can affect mobility, vision, balance, fatigue and day-to-day life, and currently there is no cure.

Those who know me know I love a challenge, but this one is a little more personal, as one of those 150,000 people living with MS is my Mum. Needless to say, she provides all the inspiration I need for the early mornings, late nights and many miles of training ahead, and I’ll be giving this race everything I’ve got.

By supporting my fundraiser you’ll be helping the MS society continue its vital work: funding cutting-edge research, providing support and information to those affected, and campaigning for better services and treatments.

If you’re able to donate, every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference and would be hugely appreciated. If you’re not, sharing my page would mean just as much!

Thank you very much for your support. I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated throughout my training and on race day!
