Nigerian Professionals at CNTW Supporting SHINE

As Nigerian professionals working within Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW), we have the privilege of seeing first-hand the difference that compassionate care and support can make to the lives of service users.

We are coming together as colleagues and members of the Nigerian professional community at CNTW to raise funds for SHINE, a charity dedicated to improving the experience of people receiving care across CNTW's hospital sites and community services throughout the North East and Cumbria.

SHINE helps provide the extra support, resources, activities and improvements that can make a significant difference to service users — things that may not be possible through central government funding alone.

Through our work, we see how important it is to create environments where people feel supported, valued and cared for. Even small additional touches can have a meaningful impact on someone's experience of care and wellbeing.

Why We Are Raising Funds

As professionals working within CNTW, we want to do our part to support the excellent work taking place across the Trust and to help SHINE continue making a positive difference to service users and communities.

This is more than a fundraising campaign. It is an opportunity for us to come together as colleagues, friends and members of the wider community and give back to the people and services we are privileged to serve.
