CAFOD works with local partners and communities worldwide, responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development, and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. CAFOD works with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

2026 is a good year to be seventy years old. Last year, I completed the Big Lent Walk. This year, I intend to throw myself out of a plane from Durham airfield.

Friday the 13th of March will see me into my seventieth year, free from all superstition and safely on the ground.
