Bernard's fundraiser for Hearing Dogs For Deaf People

Bernard Paice is raising money for Hearing Dogs For Deaf People

Great North Swim 2026 · 12 June 2026 ·

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

I am thrilled to be taking part in the Great North Swim on 13 June 2026, raising funds for Hearing Dogs For Deaf People. This incredible charity is dedicated to creating a future where individuals with hearing loss can live confidently and independently. Hearing dogs are specially trained to alert their partners to everyday sounds and life-saving signals, offering not only practical support but also companionship that transforms lives.

The need for these remarkable dogs and vital support services has never been greater. Many people with hearing loss face isolation and challenges that can be overcome with the help of a hearing dog. By supporting this cause, you are helping to rebuild connection, companionship, and confidence for those who need it most.

I invite you to join me in making a difference. Your generous donation will directly contribute to training more hearing dogs and providing essential services that change lives every day. Together, we can create a brighter future filled with hope and independence. Thank you for your support!
