My name is Bernie, I am 68 years old on the 31st August,

On the 1st September 2026 I will begin a challenging 100 mile walk along Spain’s beautiful Costa del Sol, from Málaga to Gibraltar, to raise vital funds for the charity Love, Jasmine. This date is especially significant as it marks Stanley’s 3rd birthday. Stanley is a much loved little boy who was born sleeping, and his family have received incredible support and compassion from Love, Jasmine following their loss.

This remarkable charity provides comfort, guidance and practical support to bereaved families following the loss of a child of any age, and those families whose child has been given a terminal diagnosis.

They help families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments no family should ever have to endure, and ensure they never have to face them alone. They offer emotional, practical and respite support, and promote self-care to aid the wellbeing of these families.

Following the recent loss of funding, Love, Jasmine needs our support now more than ever. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that families continue to receive the support they so desperately need, and continue to support families in the future.
