Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fund raising page.
I've been working as a volunteer for a year now at the Wildlife Aid Foundation in my home town of Leatherhead.
During my time there I have seen how hard the staff, vets, volunteers, rescuers and maintenance guys work to care for and treat animal patients. Without the Wildlife Aid Foundation we would see less hegehogs, badgers, foxes ducks, swans and birds living in the countryside.
Wildlife is in decline everywhere. For example: Fox population has dropped to around a catastrophic 41% - maybe more - since 1995. It's hard to imagine that if this rate of decline continues these beautiful creatures, often maligned as a pest for no real reason, could soon be close to extinction. Over the past year our team has looked after - and manage to release back into the wild - over 70 foxcubs!
So this year I'll be running the tough and unforgiving Eyam Half Marathon again with two of my sons; Ritchie and James, along with James' girlfiriend Liz. Together we hope to raise funds that will not only give the fox cubs, injured and sick foxes a second chance, but give all the wildlife at the Wildlife Aid Foundation a better chance of pulling through.
Please give them a chance by giving what you can.
Last year running the Eyam Half Marathon we hit a target of over £525! With Gift Aid it was a total of over £600...thanks to everyone who donated.

Let's see if we can do it again!
