Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Every year we "Bertie's Biker's" as a group dress ourselves and our bikes up at Christmas Time and ride around Harrogate Town Centre, this year it's Thursday 18th December, we do this to raise money for good causes, in the past we've raised money for British Heart Foundation, the Children's Heart Surgery Fund in Leeds and Dementia Forward, this year its Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis we chose this particular charity for this year because its personal to Mark in our group who lost his father to this cruel disease at only 72, so please give anything you can spare it all makes a difference!
If you do see us on the 18th feel free to parp your horns and cheers us on.
Much love and thanks from us all at Bertie's Biker's x
A bit from the charity below and what they do.
Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
