It might be hard to believe!!!

We are running a HALF MARATHON in May 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️

We will be taking part in the Leeds Rob Burrows half marathon to help raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association who are being an amazing support to Ash's sister in law who is suffering from this terrible disease.

Hannah (Ash's sister-in-law), aged only 40 and a mum to 5 children got diagnosed with MND in 2024.

Since being diagnosed Hannah has lost movement in both arms, and unable to walk unattended and is now relying on a wheelchair to move. Hannah also relies on her family to help with feeding, personal care and every day living.

Hannah is a strong-willed woman and is fighting MND with everything she has, to be here for as long as possible with her family.

MND is a neurodegenerative disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. Motor neurone disease kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis.

There is currently NO cure for MND, and a person’s lifetime risk of developing MND is up to 1 in 300, with six people dying each day from it.

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaign for those people living with or affected by MND in the UK.
