In September I was diagnosed with stage 2 er/pr+ and her2- breast cancer. As a lot of you know I lost my mum to cancer in 2000. She was also under 40 when she was diagnosed.

Shine is a charity specifically for those in their 20s 30s and 40s going through a cancer diagnosis offering peer to peer support, meet ups and connection.

My lovely brother Chris (Beeb) has agreed to brave the shave with me on the 29th January as I start my chemotherapy treatment which causes hair loss.

In a bid to regain a sense of control I am taking it before it takes me!!!

He has pretty much always had longer hair than me so it’s a big deal!!!
