Story
I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon this year to support causes that are really close to my heart.
As a history teacher, I teach Medicine Through Time and have always been fascinated by healthcare—especially the often-overlooked stories of women in medicine. After visiting the History of Surgery Museum in Edinburgh in 2025, I felt inspired to do more to support women pursuing medical careers. That’s why I’m fundraising for the Medical Women’s Trust Fund, which helps remove financial barriers for women in medicine.
I’m also fundraising for the Samaritans, when I will be running my first Marathon in May, so any money raised will be shared between both charities. I’ll be doing my absolute best, and every donation—big or small—will make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support 💛
