Story

Hi I’m Beth

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am 16 years old and have a passion for sports, art and working with children. I am so excited to have the opportunity to volunteer with Project Trust next year for 12 months in Malawi. I will either be a teacher or working with youth development, helping children who have had a difficult start to life.

My first challenge is to raise the money for flights, cost of living, insurance , training and everything that makes it possible for Project Trust to provide young people with this amazing opportunity!

To help me fundraise I am also planning events such as a ceilidh, enterprise fair, quiz and much more.

If you are able to give any donation, I would be hugely grateful.

Project Trust is a Scottish-registered educational charity providing young people in the UK and Europe with international volunteering experiences. Project Trust Volunteers are based in projects in Africa, Asia or Latin America for 12 or 8 months supporting teaching or youth development work. Empowering global citizens Project Trust’s aim is to empower generations of young people to act as responsible and active global citizens. We support ethical, long-term volunteering experiences which enable the Volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to their host community whilst building knowledge, skills and cultural intelligence. Project Trust works with a small group of Volunteers each year, allowing the staff team to know each individual’s skills and interests. This allows us to place Volunteers in projects where they can get the most out of the experience and enables our staff to provide tailored support to each young person. Project Trust strives to be open to all young people with the desire, motivation and aptitude required to benefit from a long-term, ethical, volunteering placement
