Story
1 in 3 people in the UK will be diagnosed with Alzheimers in their lifetime.
This April, I will be taking on Paris Marathon, raising funds for the Alzheimers Society, a charity fighting a cause so close to my heart.
Donations are detrimental to the funding of research for a cure and the provision of necessary support for not only individuals living with the disease, but their families too.
Complete marathon newbie, my first one, so I'm just here to enjoy it, eat some croissants and raise some money while I'm at it. For every £1 donated, I'll do 1 burpee broad jump - for a laugh, some incentive to give a few quid, and put my body through even more pain and suffering.
