Titty Trail Shropshire

Beth Stannard is raising money for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund

Team: Sisters with Blisters!

Titty Trail is an 11 mile walk to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, highlight the importance of screening uptake and boost funds for local cancer services.

Story

In order to commemorate the year that has passed since our sister, Charlie, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Breast Cancer, we three sisters are walking the 11 mile T!tty Trail in aid of Lingen Davies, who have been a fantastic resource, offering a wide variety of activities and support systems during this challenging time. Their ongoing work is invaluable to those before, during and after cancer. We hope to give others the opportunity to utilise these during the most difficult time of their lives.

As you can imagine, the last year has been a whirlwind of emotion for us all as a family, and particularly for Charlie, who has shown an incredible courage, determination and grace in the face of such enormously challenging times.

This walk will give us the opportunity to reflect on the past year and to look to the future with excitement and hope.

* T!tty Trail first began in 2023 and has grown year on year to become a large-scale cancer awareness and fundraising event. We host the trail in October to mark breast cancer awareness month and since it began in 2023, the event has raised over £50,000 for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.

Lingen Davies fund a wide variety of projects and services including wild swimming sessions for breast cancer patients, wig vouchers, free yoga and tai chi for patients and much more!
