Story
Taking on HYROX for Hereford ITU
In memory of Alan Davies 02.01.2020
And Russell Davies 30.12.2024
Our Dad’s spent their final days in the intensive care unit of Hereford Hospital. During that time, doctors, nurses, and support staff worked tirelessly. Showing skill, patience, and humanity in moments that mattered most. Even when the outcomes could not be changed, the care, dignity, and compassion shown will never be forgotten.
In January, Beth and Lowri are competing in a HYROX women's doubles, to raise money for ITU. ITU is a place where lives are fought for relentlessly and families are supported during their hardest moments. ITU teams work under immense pressure, providing round-the-clock care, compassion, and hope when it’s needed most.
HYROX is one of the toughest physical challenges we've ever taken on, but it doesn’t compare to the strength, resilience, and dedication shown every day in the Intensive Care
By giving, we hope to:
• Support vital medical equipment and resources
• Help fund staff training and patient care initiatives
• Improve comfort and support for families in critical moments
Every contribution helps the ICU continue delivering exceptional care when it matters most.
HYROX demands endurance, strength, and mental resilience. Every run, every workout station, and every moment of fatigue is a reminder of why we're doing this- To support those who face battles far greater than a fitness challenge.
This event is about pushing limits for a cause that truly matters.
For Alan and Russell
Thank you, Beth and Lowri ❤️
