Story
🏃♀️ 🗓️ On 30th November, I’m running the Doncaster 10K to raise funds for darts — Doncaster’s award-winning creative health and learning charity.
Having grown up in Doncaster, creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I started playing music when I was four and spent many years involved with the Doncaster Music Service. Those experiences gave me confidence, inspiration, and a real sense of belonging.
🎨During lockdown, the support and creative spirit of Doncaster’s arts community helped me launch 'Paint By B', my own art business. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful creativity can be to connect people and support wellbeing, especially in tough times.
🎭 darts works across Doncaster to bring arts, music, dance, and drama into people’s lives, particularly those facing health challenges or isolation. Through workshops, performances, and community projects, they help people express themselves, build confidence, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Their work reaches people of all ages and backgrounds, making creativity accessible to everyone.
I’m proud to support darts because I know how vital creativity is for individuals and communities. If you can donate, big or small, it would mean so much, helping darts keep making a real difference in Doncaster.
Thank you so much 🤍
