On 7 September I will run/waddle/crawl my way through the Great North Run in aid of the London Churches Refugee Fund.

Each year LCRF provides grants totalling around £50,000 to organisations working with those in the asylum system or granted refugee status. This enables those organisations to provide direct, practical support to people which can take the form of small cash grants for food, travel cards, phone credit, etc. or toiletry packs, essential clothing and other help.

I have been a trustee for LCRF for a year now and I know how much the grants are appreciated.
