Story
Myself and Christian have decided to take part in a skydive for St Johns Hospice in loving memory of Leonie. She spent her final days at St John’s Hospice where they helped keep her comfortable and allowed all her loved ones to be right by her side until the very end. Those who knew Leonie knew she liked to live life to the fullest, taking part in many charity events herself and always pushing herself to her best potential. She was an absolute bundle of energy, happiness and love, it feels only right for us to take part in this event in memory of her and I know she will be proud of her son Christian for taking this opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience on her behalf.
This will take place in Flookburgh on Sunday 6th April. We aim to raise £400 each, therefore £800 in total and have joined our fundraiser together since we will be taking part in this together. Any donation and support will be appreciated.
St John's Hospice is a local charity providing palliative care for our community when they need us the most.Although their care is freely given, its not without cost.It costs £6.9 million per year to provide their services, of that we must raise £5.2 million a year.
