🏃‍♀️ Team Rehab Takes on the Inflatable 5K! 🎈

We’re the bouncy rebels a group of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and a Discharge Coordinator, coming together to take on the challenge of an Inflatable 5K Run to raise money for two rehabilitation units in South Norfolk — Foxley Court in Dereham and Ogden Court in Wymondham.

Both units provide inpatient rehabilitation for people who are working towards regaining their independence following illness, injury or a change in their health. Every day, our multidisciplinary teams work alongside patients to help them achieve their goals, whether that’s walking further, becoming more independent with everyday activities, rebuilding confidence or preparing to return home.

As rehabilitation professionals, we see first-hand how the right equipment, activities and environment can make such a huge difference to a patient’s recovery. Every donation will go directly towards supporting rehabilitation at both Foxley and Ogden Court, helping us provide additional resources and opportunities that can enhance our patients’ rehabilitation journey.

And now we’re swapping our usual clinical footwear for something a little more adventurous and taking on an inflatable 5K obstacle course! 🎈💪

There will be plenty of bouncing, climbing, sliding, laughing… and hopefully not too many injuries along the way! 😂

We’re taking on this challenge as a team because rehabilitation is all about teamwork — patients, families and different professionals working together towards the same goal. This challenge is no different.
