Story
This Mental Health Awareness Week Samaritans are reminding people of the importance of community and connections, especially when people are feeling low or struggling to cope. So what better way to bring a smile to the faces of Bethany School pupils, and to let them know the lengths we’ll go to to support their mental health, than by taking a stand underneath a bucket of ice-cold water for the Soaked for Samaritans Ice Bucket Challenge!
The Ice Bucket Challenge will take place at lunch time on Friday 20th June outside of the Assembly Hall. Here are the milestones for when those taking part will get involved and take on the Ice Bucket Challenge:
£300 raised: Pupil Prefect Team
£400 raised: Heads of Year
£500 raised: The Senior Management Team
£600 raised: Headmaster, Mr Healy
