I am running the Mini Great North Run in September this year.

I am hoping to raise some money for Feathers Together which is a charity based in Boldon who help to look after a variety of birds.

They are a very hard working team. Birds come to Feathers Together for many reasons. A deceased owner, change of personal circumstances, health issues or financial difficulties; they make no judgement. The birds are cared for as long as they need before being rehomed. I know that all the birds really appreciate it.

We would be really thankful for any donations and every penny counts for this remarkable charity.
