Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. It affects us all and it devastates lives, ripping through families and robbing people of their identities and independence. In the UK today, someone develops the condition every three minutes.
A dementia diagnosis can be devastating, and no two experiences are the same. Personalised support is pivotal for people living with dementia. As the condition progresses, their needs and challenges deepen, often leading to points of acute but avoidable crisis. Receiving the right support at the right time is crucial.
Since 2024, CBRE has been working with Alzheimer’s Society to ensure this support is available to more people and more communities when they need it the most. Together we aim to support thousands of families by helping to reduce the burden of financial hardship caused by dementia, tackling loneliness and improving accessibility for diverse communities.
