Hello all,

As some of you may or may not know, my grandad, John, sadly passed away from Motor Neurone Disease aged 63. He truly was an inspiration to us all. A true definition of a gent.

Inspired by the courage of my grandad and the likes of Rob Burrow, and others affected by MND, I am participating in an Olympic triathlon with the goal of completing a half Ironman later on (might even make it a full Ironman next year 🙈). Anyone who knows me well, knows I love a challenge and this journey is not just about pushing my limits but also about raising awareness and supporting those battling this relentless disease.

Just to put that into perspective, an Olympic Triathlon iks 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and a 10km run. Yeah - wish me luck!
