My friend (who is a hair dresser) once told me to never shave my head as it's a weird shape... Well.. It's happening...

Most of you will know my family's personal journey with this awful disease. I vowed that if Cancer was to affect my family or friends again, I would shave my head and raise money for a charity of their choice.

Cancer affects people in ways we don't even realise, it isn't just the physical toll on your body, the vicious treatments needed or the way it turns your life upside down. It is the mental toll this awful disease takes on your entire world and the loss of loved ones :(

I hope by shaving my head I not only raise money towards this amazing charity, but I also hope that the people affected know they are not alone.
