Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 13th September 2026 I’ll be running the Great North Run to raise money for Moving On Durham.

Moving On Durham is a homelessness prevention charity that supports vulnerable 16–25 year olds. The money raised will help provide essentials like food, gas and electricity for young people who need support, especially during the colder months (which is pretty much all year round in Durham 🥶!).

Like many of us, I’m lucky, I have a safe place to live, food on the table, and the support of friends and family around me. Those are things many of us take for granted, but for some young people, they’re not guaranteed

Running 13.1 miles will definitely be a challenge for me, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges some young people face every day. If pushing myself through the training and race can help raise money and awareness for such an important cause, then every mile will be worth it.

Any donation, big or small will genuinely make a difference. It will help Moving On Durham continue to support young people who need it most.

Thank you so much for your support. It will mean a lot to me, and even more to the young people this charity helps.
