Kayleigh and Beth instigated this crazy National 3 peaks challenge idea last year and Marianne rallied together a larger team of Helen, Dariush, Sarah, Lorraine, Darian, Michael, Thijs and David as hikers and a fantastic 3 man support crew comprising Conor Martin, Graham.

Beth also added an additional challenge by completing the Leeds Marathon a few weeks ago which was amazing as the temperatures were extremely hot for running that distance.

This is a tough physical and logistical challenge starting at the foot of Ben Nevis we will hike to the peak, and back down, then drive to Scaffel Pike, again ascend and decend then finally drive to Mount Snowdon for our final climb. The aim is to complete this in 24 hours or less.

The hikers have all been training hard and we would love it if you could support any of our chosen causes. 😊

Beth particularly wanted to fund raise for Marie curie see her touching story below ❤️,Jennifer was a very loved and cherished Wife, Mother and Grandmother. The most rock and roll, cool Nana anybody could ever ask for.

In 2020, we sadly lost Nana to pancreatic cancer. Nana was an incredible woman and is unbelievably missed. She was the most fiercely loving person and losing her was incredibly difficult for all the family.

This experience made us all realise the necessity of having organisations such as Marie Curie around to provide care to those most in need. Marie Curie was instrumental in making Nana comfortable and pain-free as well as providing much-needed reassurance for the family.

In memory of Nana and to share my gratitude for Marie Curie, I (Jennifer's granddaughter) would like to raise as much money for Marie Curie as possible. In the Summer of 2025, I will take on two challenges: the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May and the National Three Peaks Challenge in June.

Raising lots of money for Marie Curie would mean the world to us as a family. Hence why this cherished memory fund will remain open and be a place that can receive donations in memory of the wonderful Jennifer Bennett. Please, if you have the means to donate, it would be infinitely appreciated. I will be posting regular updates on training progress for both challenges- so keep an eye out if you're curious! :)
