Victims of poaching/Illegal Wildlife Trade have been silenced, and us humans must be their voice. My name is Julienne Guerin and I am determined to forever support this cause, and hope that you see the value in supporting as well.

After studying abroad in South Africa through Texas Christian University, I had the opportunity to experience this crisis first-hand and knew that this would be a cause I would forever fight for. I worked alongside the honorable Dr. William Fowlds on animal procedures and biodiversity research. Notably, Dr. Fowlds assisted in the aid and rehabilitation of Thandi, the first rhino to SURVIVE a poaching. Because of her survival, she was able to expand her family tree to six more rhino. They now have the chance to experience earth and continue growing the local population. Without funding and support, this care post-poaching would not have been possible.

Helping Rhinos is an international NGO with a holistic and innovative approach to rhino conservation. Helping Rhinos has gone from strength to strength in the ten years since its inception and has raised over £2.5 million to further its goal to create and protect Rhino Strongholds across Africa; through creation of innovative protection strategies, sustainable land management operations that ensure a rich, biodiverse ecosystem and inspire local communities to proactively engage in rhino conservation.

This crisis is not as far from us as we think, we are all connected beings and we must be kind to what earth has given us. God gave us the opportunity to experience this first-hand and said, “let’s do something about this.”
