Story
On Sunday 27th September 2026 I'll be taking on the Discovery Mast Climb to raise money for NHS Tayside CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services).
This challenge is deeply personal to me. Throughout my life, I have faced my own struggles with mental health and know how overwhelming, isolating and difficult those times can be. When you're struggling, having access to support can make all the difference, which is why I'm so passionate about raising money for a service that helps young people when they need it most.
I'm also absolutely terrified of heights, so climbing the mast of RRS Discovery is something I never imagined myself doing. But mental health challenges often require us to face fears and push through difficult moments, and this climb feels like a way of turning my own experiences into something positive that could help others.
CAMHS provides vital support to children and young people across Tayside who are facing their own mental health battles. By donating, you'll be helping to support a service that gives young people hope, guidance and access to the help they deserve.
If you're able to donate, no matter how small the amount, I would be incredibly grateful. Your support means the world to me and will help make a difference to the lives of young people and families across Tayside.
Thank you for supporting me as I take on one of my biggest fears for a cause that is so close to my heart.
