Betsy is not able to participate in the Mini Great North Run due to her complex medical needs but will be walking the route around Hauxley Nature Reserve instead, which is slightly longer at 1.4km. Betsy has a rare knee condition which impacts on her ability to walk distances, but is up for the challenge! Mam and Dad will be here support team following with her wheelchair 🙂

Betsy is fundraising for her school Cleaswell Hill, who have really helped her flourish over the past year, supporting us to manage her complex, and rare, conditions and attend school like other children. Cleaswell Hill is a registered charity (number 1000697) and day community Special School in Guide Post, Northumberland for 211children aged 3-19 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Some pupils have additional physical, medical, sensory, communication or emotional needs.
