Story
We invite you to honour Elizabeth (Betty) Gray and her love of gardens by supporting the work of The Royal Horticultural Society in her memory.
Betty and her late husband Cecil (Cic) loved landscaping gardens - their own and other people's - gardening together and visiting the many splendid gardens of The Royal Horticultural Society and the National Trust. They were always happiest in a garden.
The Royal Horticultural Society, formed in 1804, is the UK’s leading gardening charity, working to encourage and improve the science, art and practice of horticulture. It aims to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the nation a greener and more beautiful place.
Betty's legacy of happy times shared with family and friends is filled with memories of her warm smile and delighted giggle. We miss her, and wish her a peaceful rest in the heavenly gardens.
Thank you for joining us in remembering and celebrating Betty's life.
