Running for 24 hours · 18 December 2026

Our trauma-informed refuge accommodation supports women, children and men fleeing abuse with tailored care, emergency accommodation, counselling, and outreach. We create a safe, respectful space to rebuild confidence, resilience, and hope, fostering a safer, inclusive community.

Story

On 18th–19th December 2026, I’ll be running for 24 hours, completing local laps around Eastham and Bromborough, with one huge goal in mind…

🏃‍♀️ 100 kilometres in 24 hours.

I’m doing this to raise money and awareness for Wirral Women & Children’s Aid, supporting women and children who are escaping domestic abuse and facing a Christmas that may look very different from the one most of us take for granted.

Christmas should be a time when every child feels safe, loved and remembered.

So alongside raising money, I’ll also be collecting new stocking fillers and Christmas presents for children who may otherwise have very little to open on Christmas morning.

The money raised on here will go towards personalised Christmas pyjamas, because sometimes it’s the smallest things — a gift with their name on it, new pyjamas, something chosen especially for them — that can make a child feel seen and special.

I know 100K in 24 hours is going to be tough. There will be darkness, cold, tired legs and moments when I’ll question why on earth I thought this was a good idea!

But every time I feel like stopping, I’ll remember what I’m running for.

Every lap. Every mile. Every donation.

If you can donate, no matter how small, you could help make Christmas a little brighter for a woman or child who really needs it this year.

And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.

❤️ Help me turn 100K of running into something that really matters.

Thank you for supporting me. 🫶
