Bev's fundraiser for Brathay Trust

Bev Ramshaw is raising money for Brathay Trust

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon charity runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise vital funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

After being unsuccessful in the ballot for London Marathon, I wanted to run for a charity that was both local and that I am passionate about, enabling me to make a meaningful difference and inspire others to contribute to make a positive change in our community. As I work in a school, supporting vulnerable families and children, I chose Brathay Trust as they are a local child centred charity in Cumbria; a charity I hope my supporters will get behind.

Our charitable work is underpinned by enterprising fundraising and our supporters’ commitment. We know that, enthused by the belief in the transformational power of people working together, you can help us make a positive difference. Work with us to transform the lives of young people.

There are so many ways to help and discover the Brathay effect that is at the heart of everything we do.
