Bevan Buckland 2023 Charity of the Year

Velindre Cancer Charity helps deliver exceptional cancer services to over 1.7 million people across South East Wales. We help pave the way for a future with world-class, research-led treatments and supportive care that can change lives. Together, we will achieve Victory Over Cancer.

Story

Velindre, the Hospital of Hope has been providing specialist treatment and supportive care to cancer patients and families for over 65 years.

Money raised for Velindre Charity helps fund ground breaking research and clinical trials, cutting edge treatments, specialist nurses, support services, therapies, equipment and so much more which are above those provided by the NHS – so donations really do have a significant impact on patients and their families.

Your donation will allow Velindre to continue to provide Hope for the future.

One of our Staff Members: Andrew Knott is running the Wild Horse South Wales 200 mile event on 5 April 2023. The race which starts in Chepstow is described as ‘one memorable and monstrous run across the trails and mountains of South Wales. With 30,187 feet of climbing which exceeds the height of Everest, the event will be Andrew’s greatest challenge to date. We are all rooting for Andrew and any donations and sponsorship will be greatly received!!
