EDF vows to help end the devastation of dementia. We aim to raise a whopping £300,000 through employee fundraising and £150,000 in additional donations, all supporting the cost of life changing dementia services and ground-breaking research.

Story

Well, congratulations everyone, we did it! EDF's Occupational Health and Health and Safety Teams (below) took part in 'Trek26 Cotswold's 2025', a 13 mile hike on Saturday, 5 July, raising money for Alzheimer 's Society.

It was a tough trek but with grit, determination and a fantastic team, we all crossed the finish line together.

1 in 3 people in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. 1.4 million people are expected to be living with dementia by 2040. Dementia is the UK's biggest health and social care crisis.

Occupational Health Team: Sarah Jackson, Beverley Boyce, Louise Driver, Sarah Ashton, Stephen Burgess, Ellie Gent, Charlotte Evans, Janna Nurse - supported by Sally Lambert, Margaret Ash (with Pluto of course) & John Miller
