In Loving Memory of Beverley

Adam McSweeney is raising money for University College London Hospitals Charity UK
In memory of Beverley McSweeney
The Cure CJD campaign has been set up by a group of individuals, personally affected by the disease, to support the work of researchers & doctors at the MRC Prion Unit at UCL and NHS National Prion Clinic at UCLH. We are a fund within UCLH Charity.

Story

We are deeply saddened to share that Beverley passed away peacefully at Peterborough City Hospital on 17th July 2024, at the age of 64, just under four weeks after being diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD).

CJD is a rare and devastating illness for which there is currently no cure. However, every day, scientists and doctors are making strides toward finding effective treatments.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request donations which will go to The Cure CJD Campaign. Your contributions will directly support crucial research aimed at discovering a cure for this fatal disease.

Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
