We are Bex and Lucy, and we are the Maternity Bereavement team at the RUH. We are running/scrambling the Bristol 10K obstacle run to raise funds for the Forget Me Not bereavement services.

We will be running with the names of some of the babies we have cared for to honour and remember them (with permission). We hope to raise awareness of baby loss to improve support available within communities.

Donations very kindly given to the Forget Me Not Fund are used to enhance the care we can provide to parents and families following the death of a baby here at the RUH Bath such as resources for memory making and 3D casting of hands and feet. The Forget Me Not Fund makes a real difference to families at one of the most distressing times in life.

We now have a support team - Locke and Niobi to help us get round the course! 😍
