Bex and Mari are taking off from the netball court and heading to the skies in aid of Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Instead of jumping for intercepts, this defensive duo is jumping out of a plane. As members of Kestrels netball team, it feels natural to take flight 🦅✈️

Mari’s experience: Having worked at the charity for a few months now, I’ve been able to see the difference that charity fundraising makes to the patients and staff at Sheffield Children’s and how amazing my colleagues are too. So this is my own little way to give back.

Bex’s experience: As one of the patients on the receiving end of this charity and meeting other kids during my time in hospital that experienced it too, I know how much of a big difference the charity makes! Time in hospital for anyone is so difficult, especially for children going through the toughest battles on Ward 6, which treats cancer and blood disorders. The Children’s Hospital Charity made the journey so much easier, giving children those bits of joy that every child deserves. Now it is my turn to help other children and staff along their journey.
