My wife Rebecca is currently going through what we are calling a ‘blip in life’ as she undergoes treatment for Breast Cancer. Thankfully, for us, this will be a blip — though we know many others are not as fortunate. Within the industry where Rebecca and I work, servicing the Property sector, there have sadly been countless cases where Breast Cancer has taken some of the industry’s greats - Rhona Green and Sarah Edmundson, to name just a couple – alongside many others who have also suffered but, thankfully, recovered.

Since Rebecca’s diagnosis, we’ve been shocked at just how many young adults are also being diagnosed with breast cancer. With Rebecca being under 40, it has really highlighted the importance of raising awareness and educating people about the signs and symptoms. Breast cancer isn’t something that only affects older women, and the earlier it is found, the better the chances of successful treatment - which is why we’re so determined to spread this message far and wide.

Rich will then go on and take part in Charity AllStars representing Team Boobies for BreastCancerNow. Throughout the year the members of our team will be raising money for this amazing charity, leading up to and during the weekend of July 24th-26th 2026, where it all culminates in the most amazing weekend of making friends, sharing stories, helping each other, and raising a shed load of money for these unbelievable charities that help people from every walk of life.
