Bexpoles Studio Everest Climb (on the poles) for CancerCare North Lancashire & South Cumbria

Bexpoles Studio Everest Climb (on the poles) for Cancercare · 13 March 2024
WE ARE CLIMBING EVEREST!!! Ok, let’s calm down a bit, actually we are using the height of the Bexpoles Studio poles to climb a total of 8,850 metres to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
We have 5 poles in the studio and each pole is 3 metres tall (three are 3.5metres, but if we average each pole being 3 metres). So if we climbed every pole 590 times (590 climbs x 5 poles = 2950 climbs. 2950 x 3 (metres tall) = 8,850 (total metres climbed and descended too!)
We are hoping to achieve these climbs in classes throughout the week commencing 29th January and hoping to be completed by Sunday 4th February. (Wish us luck!) all the instructors with get involved, and the students in and after classes, we would also love help from willing bodies from local gyms, CrossFit, climbing walls and local fire stations! Anyone prepared to learn how to climb and give us a few to add to the total would be AMAZING! We will have prizes for the most climbs done by individuals which will include free classes/packages at the studio.
But this isn’t just for fun - although it will be FUN!
