Rob Stones is raising money on behalf of the Honeysuckle Fund at Liverpool Women's Hospital by running 26.2 miles a day for 84 consecutive days! THAT'S A MARATHON A DAY!

This is to raise funds to support grieving families through the most challenging moments of their lives. The Honeysuckle Bereavement Service provides compassionate care to those experiencing pregnancy loss, still birth & neonatal death.

These funds will go towards providing:

- Memory making activities, such as casting, wreath making, photographs, and providing tangible keepsakes to cherish their precious moments together.

- Monthly peer support sessions

- Annual remembrance service

- Suite of bereavement rooms to support families experiencing baby loss at any gestation – providing home from home comforts

- Debrief rooms that are less clinical

- Honeysuckle FC ( For Dads experiencing baby loss)

- Honeysuckle remembrance garden

- Bereavement volunteers – training and expenses

Why Beyond84? During a woman's third trimester of pregnancy her body demands an energy cost equivalent to a marathon every day she goes through this for 84 days.

A word from Rob:

"This challenge means so much to me, I've seen over the past 6-12 months close friends and family struggle through this situation and how it has affected them physically and mentally and how much they have had to endure.

It is something that would hope no one would ever have to go through but to have the support of the Honeysuckle Team there to guide people through this stage in their lives is so important I struggle to put it into words.

Throughout this challenge I will be completing these miles mainly on my own, but there will be ample opportunities for others to come and run with me. There will be special community style runs throughout this three month period which I will spread throughout our social media so please if you want to come and get some miles in or show support or spread the word then @beyond84_ is where we are at on all social media platforms.

Any support or donations throughout this whole challenge are immensely appreciated. This challenge will be hard but is a drop in the ocean to what these families go through and this will help support and care for them through this hard time.
