Painshill Group Walk for BeyondAutism’s Post-19 Provision

Group walk · 29 August 2024
Services for people with autism are all too often focussed on the young, so as parents/carers we want to highlight that as these children turn into adults they still need help and care. Autism doesn't just stop at adulthood - and sometimes that can mean young people need even more help.
We are flagging this issue by holding a group walk with our autistic young people to raise funds for BeyondAutism's Post-19 provision.
Our walk will take place at Painshill, a beautiful 18th century landscaped park with follies, a lake and stunning views, on 29 August 2024. It's a feast for the senses for our young people as they can enjoy the sights at their own pace with plenty of opportunities to rest and relax along the way. They can choose a 4km or a 2.5km route - whatever takes their fancy on the day.
BeyondAutism's Post-19 services provide educational support for autistic adults from ages 19 to 25 through Applied Behaviour Analysis. You can read more about this fantastic charity by visiting BeyondAutism.org.uk.
Your sponsorship for this event will ensure young autistic adults continue to get the right support that is tailored to their individual needs - many thanks for your donations!
