The Jaffa Institute works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children from impoverished communities in Jaffa and South Tel Aviv via educational, nutritional, therapeutic and social enrichment programmes. The Jaffa Institute has 3 key goals: To provide educational and social enrichment to disadvantaged children To increase the nutritional security of impoverished individuals in our service area To care for and strengthen the emotional and mental wellbeing of our programme participants

Story

To support the emergency programmes that the Jaffa Institute has put in place as a result of the war, in addition to our ongoing work.

The Jaffa Institute has vastly expanded its Food Distribution Service, with bread winners in the army, and food scarce. We are currently tripling the amount of food packages being delivered to those in need. This, in addition to well over a thousand meals being sent on a regular basis to evacuees who left their homes without being able to take anything with them.

The Jaffa Institute is also providing thousands of winter clothing items to families and to soldiers on the various fronts; furniture to evacuated families and very essential military items to hundreds of reservists who didn’t have the basics.

Moreover, we are keeping all our regular programmes running, providing an anchor of stability in turbulent times. Our mobile science units are working overtime to include not only our regular clientele, but also evacuated children in various locations.

Your generous support is greatly appreciated.
