On April 12th 2026, the British Garden Centres Marketing Department are lacing up our trainers and taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon. This isn’t a leisurely day out for us — it’s a real mental and physical challenge, especially considering most of us are not regular runners. But we’re embracing it wholeheartedly in support of Greenfingers, a charity we pledge to support business-wide.

Greenfingers Charity is driven strongly by the belief that time spent outdoors, away from the bedside, can offer children and families under considerable stress a vital opportunity to embrace the benefits of being in the fresh air and engaging with the natural environment, something we have the luxury of enjoying on a daily basis. Precious forever-lasting memories are made within these garden spaces they create, giving everyone the opportunity to delight in the magical healing and soothing properties of nature.
