You are aware that Bangladeshi Hindus are under continuous persecution and harrassment historically. Under the current interim regime the situation has worsened tremendously and Hindus are living in fear. Recently a young Hindu man, Dipu Chandra Das, was brutally tortured and burned to death in front of thousands of public in accusation of blasphemy against the prophet of Islam. Multiple Hindu houses around Bangladesh have been set on fire with people sleeping inside. The voice of the Hindu community, Mr. Chinmoy Krishna Das, has been behind bars for more than a year under false accusations of murder and sedition.

We, the Bangladeshi Hindu community of the UK, are raising our voices for our fellow brothers and sisters and now intend a mass demonstration in front of the Houses of Parliament and to handover a memorandum to the UK Government that informs them of the current crisis and demands their public acknowledgement of the issue.
