I’m Running a 10K to Help Dogs in Need
This year, I’ve decided to lace up my running shoes (after I remove the cobwebs) and take on a 10k challenge in support of Pawprints Dog Rescue. They’re an incredible charity based in Warwickshire, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming stray, neglected, and abandoned dogs—many of whom are at risk of euthanasia due to their circumstances or medical needs.
Pawprints provides a safe haven for society’s most vulnerable dogs, offering them love, care, and a chance at a brighter future in forever homes. Their non-selective intake policy means they never turn away a dog in need if they have space, even helping local owners who can no longer care for their pets.
As a dog lover, this cause is close to my heart. I want to do my part to help give these dogs the second chance they deserve.
Please support me by donating to my JustGiving page—every pound makes a difference in changing the lives of these amazing animals.
Beavis and I thank you for your generosity and encouragement as I tackle this challenge!
Pawprints Dog Rescue are a dedicated animal welfare charity based in Warwickshire. We save stray, neglected and abandoned dogs, focusing in particular on dogs at risk of euthanasia due to their situation or medical needs.
As a charity, we offer a place of safety for society’s most vulnerable dogs, providing the best possible welfare and care during their stay with us, until they are ready to make their individual journeys into new homes.
At Pawprints, our priority is to help dogs that are most at risk due to cruelty or abandonment, and to operate a non-selective intake. When space allows, we provide a relinquishment service to owners in our local community.
The small but qualified team of welfare staff here at Pawprints provide the daily support the dogs in their care need at the kennels, and we are further supported by a large number of committed volunteers.
