Thames Bridges Trek 2025 · 13 September 2025 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

💜 Walking for a Cause That’s Close to Home

We’re proud to be taking part in the Thames Bridge Trek as a team from Totality Wealth, raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society—a cause that’s deeply personal to many of us.

Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it touches entire families, reshaping daily life in ways that are hard to imagine until you’ve lived it. For our teammate Bhavika Patel, this journey has been all too real. Though she never met her father-in-law, he battled Alzheimer’s, and her family experienced firsthand the emotional toll, the confusion, and the quiet heartbreak that comes with watching a loved one fade away.

But Bhavika’s story isn’t the only one. So many of our clients, friends and loved ones are either living with Alzheimer’s or caring for someone who is. We’ve seen the courage it takes to face each day, the strength behind every small victory, and the love that never wavers—even when memories do.

That’s why we’re walking. For our family. For our clients. For every carer, every patient, and every person who’s felt the impact of this disease.

We’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation helps fund vital research, support services, and hope for a future where Alzheimer’s no longer steals what matters most.

Thank you for walking with us—every step makes a difference.
