Each year a new Master Cutler becomes the head of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire. The Master Cutler sets a challenge which has become one of the largest fundraising events in the region, raising an incredible amount for local causes.

At Bhayani Law, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and we have had the privilege of working closely with Sheffield Hospitals Charity for some time. The incredible work they do in supporting NHS staff, patients, and vital healthcare initiatives aligns with our values ‘care and connect’, and we are keen to continue contributing to their efforts.

Companies, organisations and individuals who sign up to the Master Cutler’s challenge are given £50 as a starter seed fund. They are challenged to grow this into a bigger amount of money which is in turn donated to the Master’s nominated charity. This year’s Master Cutler Phil Rodrigo has chosen Sheffield Hospitals Charity as a beneficiary of the challenge to fund projects that will have significant impact through a number of dementia care initiatives.

We are fundraising for the following initiatives:

1. Helping people living with dementia to stay independent

2. Funding specialist dementia training

3. Improving hospital spaces and activities
