Story

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAN (1990-2022)

Beds & Herts Emergency Critical Care Scheme (BHECCS) are a dedicated team of volunteer Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics that give up their spare time throughout the year, to provide advanced medical and trauma care to patients who have suffered life-threatening injury or illness. Their emergency care helps saves lives across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

They receive no government funding and rely on donation from people and businesses.

Two years ago, our Son and Brother Daniel collapsed suddenly at home. BHECCS were first on the scene and they desperately tried to save Dan’s life, it wasn’t to be. They offered us support and kept in touch. As a thank you to them for all their help, I organise a fundraising event in his memory each year. This year, on Tuesday 24th September, we will be doing a sponsored swim together as mother and daughter. We will be swimming 64 x 25m lengths of Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre pool, which is a mile. We would appreciate any donations for this worthy charity please.

Thank you
