Cancer Focus Northern Ireland - we care for families affected by cancer with family support, counselling and other care services. We also do important cancer prevention work in schools, workplaces and communities, and fund ground-breaking research. All the money you donate stays in Northern Ireland.

Story

This year, our school community have come together to support Principal Dr Rainey as she underwent treatment for breast cancer. A much-loved hockey coach to many over the years, the BHS Old Girls wanted to honour her remarkable strength and resilience by organising a special fundraising event. Dr Rainey is also a passionate advocate for medical research, making this cause particularly meaningful.

Cancer Focus NI has been an invaluable source of support for our school, providing educational sessions and raising awareness. They also play a crucial role in funding vital cancer research at Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, helping to advance our understanding of how to prevent, treat, and ultimately overcome this disease.

Join us at the Foundry Lane Astro pitch on Saturday 28th December, 11am!
