A little bit about The BHY:

We work with those aged 5 to 17, from socio-economically deprived communities in Blackpool to tackle the challenges they experience.

Our programmes facilitate a variety of physical, creative and educational activities including centre-based youth work, offsite-visits and residential experiences. Our fully-funded offer is free to access.

We facilitate a safe space to improve mental well-being, promote positive behaviour, support educational growth and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

We enable young people to lead their best lives.

Midnight Walk

As part of The BHY’s 15th Birthday Celebrations, we have organised this sponsored walk to undertake with our Senior and Senior Plus members.

This walk will not be your average sponsored walk, and will instead start at midnight at Starr Gate in Blackpool and will finish as the sun starts to rise in Fleetwood. The walk is around 11.5 miles long and will be a big challenge to all those taking part!

Funds raised from the walk will go towards activities during our upcoming BHY Summer Camp.
